I Green Day sono stati tra i tanti artisti che hanno suonato all’evento Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve trasmesso dalla ABC lo scorso 31 dicembre ( e pre-registrato ad Hollywood in California il 23 novembre 2019). Hanno così celebrato il 25 ° anniversario di Dookie suonando il loro classico “When I Come Around“. Successivamente, hanno anche suonato il loro nuovo singolo “Father of All“. Il 2019 è stato un grande anno per i Green Day. Oltre a commemorare Dookie, il trio ha annunciato un nuovo album, Father of All Motherfuckers, in uscita il 7 febbraio. Il disco sarà promosso nel tanto atteso “Hella Mega Tour“, in collaborazione con Fall Out Boy e Weezer.
