Billie Joe Armstrong pubblica la cover di ‘That’s Rock ‘n’ Roll’ per il No Fun Mondays

Il frontman dei Green Day, Billie Joe Armstrong, ha pubblicato l’ennesima fantastica cover per le sue sessioni di No Fun Mondays, questa volta con ‘That’s Rock ‘n’ Roll‘ di Eric Carmen.
“Benvenuti ad un altro No Fun Mondays. La canzone di oggi è That’s Rock’s Roll di Eric Carmen, che faceva anche parte dei The Raspberries. Tuttavia la prima volta che ho sentito questa canzone è stata dal rubacuori delle teenager Shaun Cassidy. Le mie sorelle erano solite ballarla per casa!”
L’interpretazione di Billie Joe Armstrong presenta anche in piccolo cambio nel testo che rende la canzone ancora più personale canta infatti ”I spent my money buyin’ blue guitars” al posto di ‘I spent my money buyin’ new guitars’.
Sia Shaun Cassidy che Eric Carman sembrano anche aver apprezzato la cover di Armstrong:
